Welcome to the Show

Visiting a national modelling show like the Swedish IPMS Open is a great experience, and I warmly recommend all our readers to take an effort and participate in the modelling shows in their area.

For those who couldn’t visit Stockholm this April, here is the complete virtual tour of the recent Swedish national competition. Even if not every displayed model found its way to this photo essay, I think this photo collection covers most of it. The tour contains several hundred images – so sit back, relax, and enter the IPMS Open 2002… but whatever you choose to browse, don’t forget to take a look at the awesome diorama which took this year’s Best in Show award!

Best-in-Show
The most precious award of the year went to Per Olav Lund for ”Auf Wiedersehen” – the incredible WW1 U-Boot diorama.
