Än är jag inte där… det är lätt skrämmande att ta sig en titt på vad som återstår…
Overview.
Still some road ahead… daunting to realize what’s still left to do before it’s finished…
… och här är resten. Fototältet var för litet för att rymma allt på en gång! Mest kul grejjer kvar att göra, förutom alla dessa bumpor, hjul och banden. Där kan man hålla sig för skratt.
… and here’s the rest. The photo tent was too small to fit everything in for one shot! Mostly fun stuff left to do except for the projectiles, wheels and tracks. Those aren’t much fun, just repetitive.

The kit has this molded detail beside the driver:

This is the switch for the flame-heater device in the engine compartment. The device should really stand off a little from the wall on its own mounting plate, fixed by 2 bolts.
You could improve yours by adding the bolt heads, the handle, and the sheathed cable that leads down to the floor and back. This cable in Saumur has come loose:

Hi David,
Thanks for the information. Just been wondering what that thing was!
As you know, this is a commission build, and I cannot detail it as it would be too prohibitive moneywise (too much for the customer, too little for me!).
Look out for AFV Modeller No 45, Dave is doing some really astonishing things with the kit!
I only wish that Trumpeter could have asked expert guys like you and Mr Trowbridge for some help in the research! I’m beginning to think they didn’t have any outside consultant, and perhaps not even anyone with a good grasp of the english language? I mean, just by obtaining and reading Doyle and Jentz books on the subject, a lot of mistakes could have been avoided… heck, I could have helped them even!

Some nice things like 3d (raised relief) decals for the instrument cluster (raised bezel detail and such) other interior placards, diamond plate type raised relief for the turret basket floor, and many raised relief casting numbers for many, many pieces and more are comming soon from Woody Vondracec of AFT– these will also be a great help–so don’t go to fast!!–lol tread:)
