Luftwaffe 1946 – Beat This!

Micke Arreborn’s more relaxed project of last summer was this diorama of… hmm, what exactly?

The puzzle has been somewhat clarified when I learned the title of this creation. Micke entitled his work Flygplan, meaning simply Aircraft. It took scrap parts from several kits to construct the little diorama on a wooden base, and the scale is approximately 1/35.

I believe that Luftwaffe 1946 afficionados will have a hard nut to crack with this one. Micke’s creation raises the bar by representing a craft that not only never existed in reality, which does not deviate from other Luft-46 projects, but it didn’t even exist on paper! The diorama shows what is apparently a prototype of this ground-breaking design ready for operational trials. Of note is also the North African camouflage…
