story
The AT-16 were acquired in 1947 held by the Canadian Air Force with the sales organization as Occasionsflugzeuge. The complete overhaul of cell and engine was carried out at the Dutch company Fokker and Aviolanda, Amsterdam and Schiphol. The aircraft could be kept for twenty years with great success for the blind flight training in operation. In this period, almost all exercising military pilots were able to reach the flying blind admission. Since the pilots were trained later 05 with the new training aircraft Pilatus P3-03 / already in the flying schools for the blind flight, was to dispense with the AT-16th In 1968, Major maintenance work, especially the replacement of fatigue parts due. These circumstances led to the decommissioning and liquidation of the entire AT-16 fleet. All engines, including the propeller and engine mount bought an American aircraft maintenance company and let them convert for use in Sprühflugzeugen to Dallas, USA.

In 1995, he built on the only day airworthy Morane D-3801 of the Swiss Air Force, together with Peter Zweifel of the company Skyparts. This objective would both reach build the AT-16th Corrosion had badly gnawed at her planking and wing structure. Many components had to be remade.
For weight-saving reasons much military equipment was removed. The radial engine, a Pratt & Whitney Wasp nine cylinder was completely overhauled in the US. The AT-16 Externally identical to U-323 of the Swiss Air Force to the smallest detail today.
Since the end of August 2013, the U-323 flies again

In addition to the kit I have 2 Eduard sets installed. Also, the Pitot tube and the exhaust system were made in Hand-made.
