Questions About Post-1940 Swedish Air Force Aircraft Insignia

First - When the order was given to add the yellow border to the SwAF insignia in 1940 did the existing insignia on current aircraft stay the same size except the yellow border was added on around them so the size diameter specification was enlarged by the additional size of the border? Or did the specified overall size stay the same and the blue circle was made smaller by the size of the border?

Second - What was the specification for how wide the yellow borders were supposed to be?

I have been looking in the book "Kronmärkt" It says that the diameter (D) of the insignia were 500, 800, 1100 and 1500 mm.
In 1940 the yellow border was added to the insignia. It says that the border was 0,1D. The outer diameter of the insignias were 600, 960, 1320 and 1800 mm. I never have looked in to this before but i now had a look at the 1937 500 mm insignia. 0,1*500 give a 50 mm wide border so 50+50+500 give the 600 mm of the 1940 size.

Thank you. That's what I would have expected. Why repaint the entire insignia when you can just paint the border around the one already there. But I figured I'd better ask to make sure. And the border width is 10% of the outer diameter of the blue circle. Exactly what I needed to know.
