En klassisk, svensk (europeisk?) Street Machine från 60-talet: En Folkvagn med Porschemotor. Även det ett klubbprojekt i Capital City Modelers, att bygga Tamiya:s VW efter eget huvud.

Porschemotorn kommer från Fujimis Enthusiast Models Porsche 356 Carrera, som även fått släppa till fälgar (och bromstrummor). Bakfälgarna har breddats och försetts med Pirellidäck från Fujimi. Bilen har fått sänkt fjädring och en skålad sportstol på förarplatsen, i övrigt är den byggd från byggsatsen. Motor och inredning har detaljerats och avgassystemet, av ”Sebring”-typ, är skratchbyggt.

Lacken är Silver Mica Metallic från Toyota.

 This is a classic Swedish, or maybe European, Street Machine from the sixties: A Beetle with a Porsche engine. The model originated from yet another club project in Capital City Modellers: build whatever you fancy from the Tamiya Beetle.

The engine originates from the Fujimi Enthusiast Models Porsche 356 Carrera, which also supplied wheel hubs and brake drums. The rear wheels have been widened and Pirelli tyres from Fujimi have been added. The suspension have been cut down to make the car lower and a racing type driver’s seat have also been added, apart from these modifications the kit has been built straight from the box. Engine and interior is detailed and the Sebring exhaust in scratch built.

The lacquer is Silver Mica Metallic from Toyota.
