Andreas färger

Någon som har erfarenhet av Andreas färger? Jag försöker penselmåla med deras set med svart färg och färgen blir inte riktigt matt. Någon som känner igen detta. Och ja, jag har skakat flaskan utan bara h-vete. Spåder med kanske 10-20% vatten. Deras andra färgerverkar fungera utmärkt, det är bra svart jag har problem med.

En annan fråga angående detta, är Andrea och Vallejo samma färg. Det är misstänkt lika varandra till färg, lukt och smak.

I heard from a very experienced modeller who uses this brand, that thinning them too much can give this effect ... even adding too many layers, too quickly can also give this effect. Eventhough he preferred this brand over Vallejo colours for the rich colours, he still uses Humbrols for most of his shading and toning to achieve his matt finish. He also mentioned that the occasional bottle can be "off". Do you know if all your black colours are responsible or is it just one of them ... maybe try them out seperatly .... could be just one bad bottle???
Personally, I have never used Andreas colours or any other acrylic colour for brush painting, so cannot speak from experience.

Thanks for the response. You might be right. This is the situation a hate the most, when the mistake is not on my behalf, for when it is, I can correct it and avoid it the next time.
I will probably have to strip it and restart the painting. A shame since I primed it. You should never prime you model because the paint has a tendency to stick then.

Precis som Frank skriver har jag också hört från flera.

Det jag tror, med betoning på tror. Är att det är samma fabrik som tillverkar Vallejo och Andrea plus några fler. Men det är beställarna som själva bestämmer sammansättning i andelar och hur många beståndsdelar efter sina egna preferenser. Samma sak med brytningarna. Givetvis inom vissa gränser.

Önskar själv att Tamiya och Humbrol kom i lika smidiga förpackningar. Har tappat över det vanligaste Tamiyafärgerna på Vallejoburkar och är mycket nöjd med det. Mindre grisigt när man sprutmålar och mindre kvantiteter är mycket smidigare.
