Hej guys!

It was so much fun for me to read the comments and so much positive feedback on the show. It is the best reward for me and Maris, who also did fantastik effort on getting the event up and running with all those extras like RC tanks, air-simulator, workshops for children, getting models and lost more.

I should admit it was a shame that I was too busy and we had only small chats with you. But that was fun. And I like Stellan's sense of humor. And models

You guys making really cool models. Thanks for being part of friendly company. I was really happy to see you once again and looking forward to see you in other shows (C4, ModelExpo08, Muson) etc.

The current plan is that my team preparing result presentation and pictures. Then I will present you full list of models & medals

Det var en rolig resa. Killarna vid bordet bredvid hade en väldigt intressant manick, -en 3D-scanner. Resinfiguren som ingen har vågat satsa eller tro på kanske blir verklighet. En dekalmupp i skala 1:25.


Förutom Kittyhawks Grip fick jag även med mig en souvernimugg

Don’t know how to start.. More then 600 models were presented on the show, while our preiminary estimate was not more then 600. I am very glad to see that high interest and support for modellers in different countries. Wanna to see some statistics? Here ir is:

Statistics by country:

Latvia: 399 (looks like a priсe for new plazma TV )
Sweeden: 77 (Lucky number)
Estonia: 55 (3 pair numbers in a row?!)
Lithuania: 42
Belorus: 20
Russia: 13 (my favorite number )
Denmark: 4
One participant (I think it’s Fred) complained that his country in reg. form is wrong, but that shouldn't impact the figures dramatically.


Many thanks to all the guests! You definitely made a difference in number of models and some nominations would not be complete without your models. And where should I put all those prizes then for incomplete nominations? My garage and balcony are full and you know how much sweet words I get from my wife in this matter Therefore thanks to get some free space in my room

It definitely is worth to mention our sponsors - North Star Models, Inked, Hobby Models, WMC, Poligonas, Radošo Darbu Galerija, Ideja Pro, Schmincke shop in Riga. Also Sindcore gave some prizes. It was real prize rainbow – models, certificates, tools, paints and main prize – airbrushes Inked.
Great holiday for modelers! Riga haven’t seen this before. And let’s hope not the last time.

Just want to warn you. Refereeing procedure did not go as smoothly as hoped. There were errors, delays .. But the award procedure started on time and our Swedish friends were able to caught the ferry to Stockholm ...

Aught, I forgot to tell the main thing.
Prizes that prizes. But most of all I liked was the mood of the visitors and of course the guests. Guys just glowed with joy and for me this is the greatest reward. Alas, had not much time to talk with everyone in detail, but .. I got new friends and reinforce old relations. It was fun and interesting, do not want anyone to let go. Each modeler is unique and has its own approach in modeling and a rich inner world. And how many amazing models brought! Tremendous thanks to all of you guys! Hope to see you again.
