Thanks Frank. I did a few searches on e-bay yesterday and nothing much came up. I guess I did it wrong
Got to love these shipping costs, though. 15 GBP from UK to Sweden!

I saw that but figured ... £35 total when you really need something might need it quickly, is still a relatively OK price. I always count the postage as part of the cost.
There were a set of Boxer wheels on the same search I made ... £26 plus postage. Didnt want to give you heart failure.

Re: Köpes: Revell GTK Boxer 1/35 (03093)
Hi Frank,
I always try to calculate the postage as part of the cost of the model as well, but sometimes when the postage cost is almost the same as the model it hurts a little extra. Its one reason I don't buy so much from HK any more, the postage rates have gone up horrendously the past year or so, so the cheaper price of the models compared to in Europe does not justify it any more. However, in their favour, they do have an enormous stock (for example HobbyEasy) and when ordering accessories, etched parts etc, the shipping is still low and makes it well worth it.
Postage from the US to Sweden on E-Bay is even worse, sometimes up to 40 USD or more for one model!
I really wonder sometimes where these postage costs come from (especially within Europe). My parents live in the UK and when they send me a parcel (for example a model) it costs perhaps maximum 5-6 GBP. I am pretty sure that many companies/people use the postage costs to make an extra buck. I realize that they are including the packaging as well, but nevertheless.
Haha, thanks for the heart attack, I have found some Boxer wheels on MBK for a slightly cheaper price, so no worries.
I bought the Boxer from Kingkit today, plus another model - there was no rush really, but I managed to get a Blast Models update for the Boxer the other day (out of production for a long time) and decided I should get the kit as well since it seems a little hard to find
Jeez, I am buying stuff again - that was not supposed to happen! haha
Thanks for your help!

Hej Sven
I know what you´re saying regarding postage. The UK often works well.
I buy CDs from the UK often ... postage is the same from there as it is Stockholm to Stockholm.
The mainland European companies usually have a flat or minimum fee of €15 or similar, so where it is practical to buy several items to offset the postage costs, its useless when only buying one small item.
A company I use a lot for small items ... "A Modeler" in Australia.
Huge stock, especially etch, decals and resin, and very decent postage costs.
I usually find items from them on Ebay.
They are not practical for kits and larger items.

Re: Köpes: Revell GTK Boxer 1/35 (03093)
Hi Frank,
Yes, unfortunately outrageous postage costs from some suppliers are becoming more and more a deciding factor when I purchase models. I used to purchase practically everything from Hobby Easy (and still feel their service is great - not to mention their stock), but since their shipping rates sky-rocketed on kits I seldom buy anything there any more, except smaller items.
Lucky Model have more decent postage rates (free on some items) but their availability rate has not been impressive lately. Lots of items are listed as "available" which normally means several months before they turn up.
Some sellers in EU have decent rates, MBK works great with their zero postage policy as long as you purchase for 150 EUR or more, but its not always one wants to spend 150 EUR. I guess their flat rate of 12 EUR if the purchase value is less than 150 EUR is also acceptable (not if you only plan to buy one item, though), but it is always so tempting to try and reach that zero shipping cost - which of course just makes the stash grow even more.. haha
Thanks for your tip regarding "A Modeler" in Australia, will check these guys out as well.
