De Havilland D. H. 89 Dragon Rapide Swissair HB-APA came as a prototype of total 728 built D. H. 89 in 1934 to Aero St. Gallen and was taken over by Swissair on 03/20/1937. To 1948, she received the new registration HB-APA. Went on 06/24/1954 at Farner Grenchen and 1955 the Motorfluggruppe Zurich for sightseeing flights.

Swissair used three de Havilland DH-89 Dragon Rapide from 1937 to 1954. The first (HB-APA) was acquired in 1937, in 1948 pushed the other two machines HB-APE and HB-APU for Swissair. The Dragon Rapide was used for flights between Austria and Switzerland.

The Heller kit comes from the late 1970s.

Here, I then attached a few individual supplements. The banners are parts in the kit in very good quality.

I had intended to build on the basis of this kit a Swissair machine with silver paint.

I believe we have a serious case of "missed in translation" here ;) In Switzerland French is one of the official languages. Sobre in French means "sober = not-drunk". Hedo, I think what GeekJoan means with is a clean, tidy and elegant build. We have actually imported the word "sobre" from France in the 18th Century. It has slightly changed meaining in Sweden over the centuries, -but the exact meaining is actually sober (nykter) in Swedish. Most people in Sweden think it means someting more like elegant, but then again, -you tend to be more elegant when you are sober;)

I agree with GeekJoan, it is a nice build.
