K.A.R.R. Knight 2000 Knight Rider / AMT/ERTL / 1:25
My son came with a wish to me if I could build on the basis of an old Knight Rider kit of ERT / AMT in 1:25 for his collection a KARR variant as a model.
The television series Knight Rider from Glen A. Larson was one of the most popular television series of the 80s. In more than 70 countries followed week after week millions of viewers the latest adventures of Michael Knight (David Hasselhoff) and his talking car KITT (Knight Industries Two Thousand) and the team of the Foundation for Law and Government.
The K.A.R.R. (Knight Automated Roving Robot) was in the film series, the evil counterpart of KITT

Kit Knight 2000 Knight Rider / AMT / ERTL / 1:25

A simple kit from 2002. The fit can be in some places to be desired and also a lot we need to rework. Especially when the windscreen had a lot of additional work to be done to achieve a satisfactory result.
Negative is that the kit included with no decals, what a Hand-made with a neutral Decalfolie necessitated for the interior design of the cockpit and the control panel areas.
Here I had a few compromises in the fittings go because my Deskjet could offer only a limited printing resolution.
The kit also includes two versions of the engine to choose from, with direct injection or turbo charger, as Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, or simply as "Knight Rider". Unfortunately, there is no engine variant here as turbine version. I have chosen the turbo charger version for KARR variant.
K.A.R.R model from the AMT / ERTL K.I.T.T kit
