Hi Lars,
Good questions to ask! I keep this ,and more(pirates ships, roman birreme, viking long ship, battle tanks dioramas, leibstandarte AH parade,figures,....)into the house. It's like a museum(to the dismay of my wife !)
Is the madhouse!

Stolt målsättning!
Thats a big one, gosh! Looking very impressive. But why did all modelmaker those nuts and bolts on this subs.Revell have make the same mistake with there models in the smaller scale. Those subs where all welded,I hav study a lot of pictures of sub bodies when bulding my,and i cant find a nut or bolt on anyone. Not so many anyway. After Einbaume and first UI and U2 ,and VII A) the constructions where welded.Anyway a beautiful sub model, nice work Victor.A very rare pics of U-481/Lennart
U 995 have the improved stronger pressure hull,as came on VII C/41 type. You cant compare them with type like U-481.But my point is ,that it is to much of nuts and bolts on every single model of these type if submarines. And U 995 was build in the brake 42/43 when welded hulls where going to be moore common. The lower surface still have nuts and bolt ,but in my oppoinion there is to many on the upper surface.I am not trying to critisise you and your model,it is just a thought abaout VII C sub models in general /Lennart
