Next thing I did, I took a decision to use aftermarket wheel bay from MM, at least on the front. I tried to detail it myself before, but I was not able to fix main issue - to give more space for retracted front wheel. This would require to cut it on pieces anyway...
I used JLC Saw here

I do not put it on glue yet. I also need to replace cockpit
Nice work!
Unfortunately plastic models are not like wine they do not get better over the years. I guess its a big difference between the old Heller and the new Viggen from Tarangus.
Luckily plastic models (except decals) do not get much worser with time
Comparing new and old Viggen. Tarangus/SP designers did a big step forward - no doubt. And no surprise. There was plenty of time to collect drawings, pictures and inspect real subject. Viggen is available in many museums, including CZ, PL, no just SE museums.
While inspecting new Viggen in 72 I found that many things improved. However some things are simplified. But I do not want to open this topic here. Let old good Heller be a king here (or pretending to be a king)
Next step is to cut away ventilation tubes.
The tubes on the sides are "blended" into fuselage, no like on real one.
And I want to make holes in the ventilation tubes behind cockpit. But the only solution I see is to make tubes from thin metal.
Also I will be able to fix one thing. Tubes behind cockpit has different size: on the right is wider an taller then one on the left.
New side left tube done from different size of tubes and CA glue applied. Then sanded to get the shape.
Front part of the tube has a small hole, like on real Viggen.
