Kamrater!

"B) The jury will be composed of two (2) judges appointed by IPMS STOCKHOLM and with extensive knowledge in the field."
What type of knowledge do you request? Knowledge of naval aviation, or of judging models?
Furthermore, we're given to understand that at least 30 models will participate, and that all models will be continually judged by reviewing their respective Work In Progress-threads (on a forum, I assume). Is that correct?
Also, are the two judges from Stockholm supposed to judge the 30 models together, or 15 models by each judge?
Kul initiativ, tycker jag.Francisco skrev:It is a pleasure to welcome you and thank both on my behalf and IPMS Honduras, for your valuable help and collaboration with our project, I will expand and clarify any doubts you might have.
1) Judges should have more experience judging than on naval issues, but would be a plus if they know of both issues.
2) because as I mentioned you, models are like 30 or more already enrolled, we asked for at least 2 judges, but may be more, considering that are 2 categories, but what is best for you, will be fine for us.
3) as the models that qualify each judge will depend on the way you want to do, what we want is to know is, who will be, their names and their e- mail address, this is because only one person will be in contact with them, that person will be responsible to feed the judges with the material and pictures that the contestant will be sending on a calendar basis (15 days, 30 days), what is best for you.
4) The judges will to communicate each other to compare notes, observations, etc. In order to come up with a winner for every category, there will be no second or third places, only one winner.
5) the winners will receive a diploma signed by the judges, and the chairman of the chapter, you can either send it by normal airmail or via e-mail and we print them out, the thing is to give something that award them and what a best thing that a diploma from one of the finest IPMS chapter as it is Stockholm.
And last, but not least to promote the hobby worldwide thru this type of contest, with fellow modelers like you are. If you have any other doubt or concern, do not hesitate to contact me to clear them up, have a great weekend
