N701 Martinet
Re: N701 Martinet
With the friendly support of Swedish Air Force Museum I may get some interior photos of the cockpit and cabin of SE-KAE. (SE-KAE is stored in a warehouse.) Be aware of the big photo difficulties with light and space related to warehouses compared to photos from spacious museum premises. SE-KAE is interesting from a modellers point of view as I have identified four different versions of painting and identification insignia from photos.
Re: N701 Martinet
From the inside of SE-KAE. It is the same/similar color on the inside of the door on two pictures (with open door) I have. I suspect all five planes had the same/similar color in the cabin.

Re: N701 Martinet
The attached monochrome photo shows a camera which appears to be a Swiss made Wild RC5/5a.
However, there is a mounting hole on the right of the nose of the SE-KAE for some kind of sighting. Presumably another camera was used.
If anyone knows, please let me know.
Judging from the photo, the cockpit is the green seen on Swedish aircraft. The inside of the fuselage appears to be painted as it was when purchased from France. The colour above the window is chamois, the internal colour of French aircraft, below the window is black and the floor is boarded up.
I am planning to convert Special Hobby's 1/48 Si-204D into an SE-KAE. The paint scheme is white on the upper fuselage, Aluminium paint or no paint on the underside, fluorescent orange on the underside outer wing section and horizontal tail wing. The fuselage has black and white stripes, hand painted? It is not known what the tips of these stripes are. Please let me know if someone know.
I am also wondering if there are electrical shutters on the aft bulkhead of the cockpit, as there are on the Si-204, but what about on the SE-KAE?
